Thanksgiving
This year we again celebrated thanksgiving with grandparents Karel and Annemie, now in our house. We made turkey again and several side dishes. The food came out yummy and we had a good time. During the day we could take advantage of nice weather and do a few things in the yard, whih helped for having a nice day all together ;-)

Opa and oma Mangelaars visited
They left home a couple of days ago already, so we have had our first guests in the new house now. Opa and oma Mangelaars have stayed here for a bit over a week and we all enjoyed the time together.
For opa it was great (and new) that he could work in our yard as much as he wanted, so that's what he mostly was doing. We lucked out with the weather, around noon we had close to 70F every day. At night it cooled down significantly of course so we could not stay out late, but we had lunch outside quite a few times.
Bram had to go to school most days, so we did not go on many outings, but no one seemed to miss that much.
Bram and Vera also really enjoyed playing with opa and oma. Neither of them was okay with them taking the plane home again. The past few days they have been asking about them regularly.
