May

In May we had contact with Bram's ENT, for even though we had had him on antibiotics for the whole month of March, in April his sinusses still did not seem better. We worried about the effects of keeping him on antibiotics for his immune system, since you tend to grow a resistence to them.

This consult resulted in the fact that we put Bram on a very heavy antibiotic for 3 weeks during May, hoping that this would clear out the infection. To confirm this, he got a ct scan on May 28. We are still waiting for the results.

Next to all this, this was Bram's last month of therapy via the early intervention program that sent therapists to the house. It was a very busy month for we had several make up sessions, so we hardly got to doing anything else. In June he won't have therapy and his school starts in July.

April

The entire month of April, Vera suffered from toothaches. A few molars are now visible and her corner teeth seem to be on their way. She was very touchy for a few weeks.

Bram had a 3-week period of "stranger anxiety", mainly towards other children, even though he knows them for most of his life. This seems to bee completely faded already with concern to adults, its still there when he meets a group of kids.

On April 30, Bram had another sleep study. This needed to be done because they wanted to measure the effectiveness of the operartion that was conducted in December on his sleep apnea.
