School preparations

This month the process of getting Bram in an appropriate school has been officially kicked off. The early intervention program that now services him, will end on his 3rd birthday. From that day on the therapy should be arranged for within a school.

The district we live in is obliged to place Bram in the "least ristrictive" form of education. We ourselves play an important role in determining where that would be.

Yesterday we learned that the school we would love to see him in (Livingston, 10 minutes from home) also would accept him and has a spot for him. Now we need to keep the fingers crossed that the district will be prepared to place him there. So: to be continued.

Greetings!

Bram and Vera have developed some ritual for when they hear Erik come home. They both race to the gate on top of the stairs to see him. Vera is so exited that she stands jumping up and down, stamping her feet. In the meantime she is grinning and shouting alternating "pappa" and "daddy" untill he picks her up. Bram is a little more quiet, he stands next to Vera smiling hugely at Erik, pointing proudly at him while he says "pappa" and "daddy", also alternating the words.
